The Wuataska ritual of ending the motherhood cycle:
The Wataska is a ritual to close the completion of the motherhood cycle. The Wuataska, (also known as Wataska or Wataksa), is a traditional Andean ritual that aims to seal a pact of unity, commitment, and harmony between families, communities or with nature itself. It is especially common in the indigenous worldview of the Andes, where everything has a spiritual meaning and is related to reciprocity (ayni). It is done with sheets or shawls, herbal exfoliations and is completed with a plant bath
